Good selection of home and small business electronics as well as entertainment media. Their prices are competitive; and certainly even better when there is a sale. However, personally, I find their VIP events, held a couple times a year, are more hype than substance. Yes, things are on sale during these events, but you don't need to register for the event in advance to buy at the sale prices. I have yet to figure out any benefit in registering for the event except for getting a contest entry which I never win. One caution to note is that not all sales reps are equally knowledgeable in all products Best Buy sells; so if the one "helping" is not really any help, don't worry about asking for help from someone who knows more about the product you are asking about

Best buy is really going down hill as it concerns it's service. Absolutely bad. I bought a television and there was not a soul to help. This is the third time I go to Best Buy and there no one to help. I will have to look for some place else to shop for my electronics...

I would say this probably 1 of the worst best buys in town. They refuse to pri e match items . They cant be bothered to look up items that are in stock and have plenty of staff that are more interested in hanging out then helping a customer. I think if they cut the staff in half the store would still have the same level of service. The best buy on meerivale is completely opposite. I was able to price match the laptop and get a great service.

This a typical Best Buy: big box store, prices are roughly MSRP, clean and blue. The staff at this location have always been friendly and helpful to me when I've had questions. I find this location is smaller than most in Ottawa, and they seem to have stock issues sometimes, but otherwise it's what you expect from this chain, which is not all that bad.

I had an issue that I called the Best Buy line about and really didn't get anywhere so I went to the store to speak to get some help. Dave was amazing, he asked questions to fully understand my problem and he solved that problem quickly, professionally, and overall was extremely helpful and easy to work with to figure out what was going on. Thank you so much for your help Best Buy team! #mikewho? P.S. Ocho and Mike in the home theatre department were great. Thanks for the info! :)
