I really liked this venue. There was a long line that wrapped around the block, but I was inside within 20-25 minutes of doors opening. Staff were very helpful. Drinks were reasonably priced. The architecture of the concert hall was really unique, and the acoustics were very good for such a large space. Park at the Motor City Casino (10 min safe walk) and avoid paying the $20 to park next door.

Saw Arctic monkeys. Either the mixing was horrible or the acoustics were. Couldn't hear the singer at all. Lobby is way too narrow. seating was not assigned. Ticket said floor, but meant seating. It was oversold. So we ended up standing in the very back. I'll avoid concerts here.

It's great to have a venue like this still in existence. I saw the arctic monkeys here and the venue was far smaller and more intimate than they would play in Europe. I'd love to see more bands here as the crowd were brilliant. The support act were very well received too, which is also refreshing.

Impressive doesn't begin to describe what this place is or the scale. It is a *BIG* place. Every room feels like a lecture hall, and the auditoriums are massive yet very intricately detailed. They don't build like this anymore. Great place to see a concert.

What a fascinating and some what eerie venue. The architecture and interior are stunning; with mechanism made out of wood for the coat check area, and built into the wall of the woman's washroom were seats and steps that were used for people to get their shoes shined on the way out of the washroom. I've only been there for music events which were a lot of fun but was limited to exploring other parts of the building.
