We were quite impressed by the staff’s friendliness when we came to buy movie tickets. Having made our way down the stairs to below street level, we found a café / bar / restaurant place, which looked accommodating and nicely set out. That is where they sell the tickets: at the drinks bar. We decided against eating there, simply because it was lunchtime and there is no daylight down there. When we came back later to watch the actual film, it was another floor further down. Nice movie theatre, comfy seats, clean and spacious toilets. And the film - Apostasy - was riveting. Can definitely recommend the place.

Experience probably depends largely on the movie and 'In the Fade' is a great movie. Curzon staff were helpful, thank you again. Fellow movie watchers were a mixed bag with latecomers, one person going out and coming back in and a good deal of snacking and drinking around us. Guess this is just how we are today.

Lovely cinema with fantastic bar. If the bar upstairs appears busy do not despair as just down the stairs is a much larger bar with ample seating. The cinema screens themselves are fantastic and sound quality is great. The Curzon far surpasses your average city center chain cinema and is well worth a visit next time a showing takes your interest.

Has a lovely oldie worldie feel to it. Nice inviting atmosphere, friendly staff. The only down side was they had run out of meals from the menu and not much of variety for food intolerances.

Always plays a decent selection of films, really nice bar upstairs and downstairs for while you wait for your movie. The only problem is that it’s all so overpriced (even for cinema standards). For what it is, I don’t think it justifies the money - I definitely would recommend buying snacks before you go in. Seating in the cinema is okay, nothing special. Staff were all very friendly as always.
