Had a great evening watching Don Quixote - they even upgraded our seats from stalls row W to row D as a couple of places hadn't been sold. Very nice touch. Fantastic views, would return.

What an amazing play "Don Quixote" – artists are talented, enthusiastic with great humour, a really interesting take on a classic! Thank you! Theatre staff is very organized and helpful. Seating... oh well, it's unfortunately like in any other theatre in London (old and even new) – uncomfortable. Dress circle ventilation leaves a lot to be desired.

A medium sized theatre situated just past the side of the National and National Portrait Galleries between Trafalgar and Leicester Squares. The seating rake in the stalls is slight so it is likely the head of someone in the row in front of you could block a third of your view of the stage. Sitting more on the side of the row can help.

Garrick Theatre is one of the most popular historic venues in central London, close to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. Like many Victorian era theatres, it is on the small side, so if you want to make a play or musical for a specific show you should reserve tickets well in advance. Its fairly intimate atmosphere guarantees that you will get a good view of the stage from most seats, unless you booked a seat behind one of the columns. Over the years I have attended several shows there, the latest being Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein. The sound from the speakers is very direct and loud, so mind that if you choose a seat in the front stalls area. The staff are usually friendly, and, as always, photography during the show is not allowed. The bar area is fairly spacious, but the drinks prices may make your eyes bleed. The seats are not the most comfortable, but unlike at some other historic venues, there's enough legroom between the rows! In the stalls, the rows ascend just a little, so if you happen to be sitting behind a very tall person, there goes your view. Toilet facilities are small indeed, and rather "historic", too.

We watched the Macbeth show here and it was a brilliant performance. I went with students and we are a faith school and the management was kind enough to allow us to pray in one of their rooms which we really appreciate!! Thank you.
