I managed to get last minute tickets with a friend to see the show. After seeing the film and obsessively listening to it for majority of my teenage years, it was a dream come true to see it on stage. The theatre seemed small but it made the environment feel intimate, the decor of the theatre was stunning. the production was simple in terms of set, yet so effective the cast were incredible the dancing and singing drew you in and ignited my passion all over again! I definitely recommend it to any one! Especially with Alexandra Burke she was incredible in sister act and she will certainly not disappoint on Chicago

Very elegant beautiful theater. We went to see the production for Chicago. My family and I are Chicago enthusiasts and have seen it in New York City on Broadway as well as in the West End several times before. This performance was by far the best which we had ever experienced. Very cozy venue which gives it an even nicer feel. A Grand concert hall which pays great respect to the era in which it was constructed.

Went to see Chicago as a birthday treat for my daughter. A lovely theatre building with real character. The play was fantastic, the bar was atmospheric and staff friendly. A great experience overall

The Pheonix Theatre is beautiful and comfortable and just right for the musical Chicago. Fantastic entertainment, great band, brilliant performer's a bit raunchy at times, the part was made for Martin Kemp. The music is brilliant. (We do every show once but this is our fifth visit to see Chicago and everyone it gets better)..

I am only posting this review in relation to the accessibility of the theatre for a person with mobility issues. I was amazed that the theatre's only accessibility toilet was via a number of stairs, and conveniently situated behind the private box area, rather than in the main arena of the theatre. There were no signs indicating where the disabled toilet was and most of the staff, including the manager, had no indication where it was either. Which leads me to suspect that the toilet may be used mainly for those who pay for use of the private box.
