This place is a great place to see any performance. It's immaculately clean, has adequate restroom capacity, decent acoustics and, at least once, they were giving away beer in the basement. The venue seems to be supported by a loving cadre of volunteers and has good community support as well. Plus, Great Barrington is a nice place to spend a day before your performance. I prefer this theater to other, closer venues.

Beautiful building that seats 700 with first rate events, performers, artist, speakers. Today I heard Elizabeth Warren do a town hall meeting there. Outstanding Elizabeth Warren and we'll organized event.

The Mahaiwe in Great Barrington is the perfect spot to see a live performance. The old/restored theater is beautiful, and the small-ish size makes any seat in the house a good one. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and readily available to help you find your seat. I didn't see any type of concession stand or area, so plan ahead and eat before going in. There's no on-site parking, but parking spots in Great Barrington are usually easy to find. Ticket prices vary by artist/performance, but the concert that I went to had plenty of options including "cheap seats" at $30.
