Brought my Deceased Fathers income tax in over a month ago, and still haven't heard from anyone... I called numerous times, no reply. When I dropped off his taxes, I was informed that only one employee is trained at this office to do taxes for someone who is deceased, apparently its a different process. Not impressed with communication. UPDATE, JULY 10 2018 After many calls, put on hold, no returned calls... I finally called head office. Turns out my fathers taxes were not even touched, after being there for over a month. I explained to head office the huge communication issues and how long I have been waiting, they assured me it will be taken care of and someone will be in touch soon. That same day my phone rang, and sure enough they would have my Fathers taxes done in 2hrs. I was very hesitant at this point to even let them go ahead and do them.... The lady at the office couldn't apologize enough, and even said she would get me a discount for all the trouble....NOPE! $200.00 later and a sales pitch to pay more money so if anything goes wrong, they take care of it!!!! Nothing like adding insult to injury... Uuhhh, let me think... NO! I walked out never to return again. Mind you head office tried to contact me once, during the day, and of course I was at work. Never called back. Overall my experience was completely unprofessional, unpleasant, and needless to say the worst experience I ever had concerning taxes. Years ago I never had a issue with H&R, used them many times. Now, I'd rather take my money and trust to another more professional privately owned business that actually cares and backs their own work, not a company that values quantity over quality, which is exactly what I experienced. Lesson learned, Never Again!!!

Great service! We had a guy named Jason doing our taxes and he was also answering calls and the front door because they were short staffed. He gave us excellent service and clearly explained to what was going on in language we could understand. Very friendly. Best h and r block I've ever been to.

Kind of a boring setting. Bland environment. No wonder that accountants have the highest suicide rate amongst all professions.

Stay away from this company.... Go anywhere but here to have your taxes done.. this company is a sinking ship that doesn't care about it's customers or staff.... Head office is a joke and violates every labour law going. Ed Quinlan is a useless POS and Jason Roy is an even bigger POS... Go anywhere but here to have your taxes done

Taxes aren't as difficult as most people think...just a hassle. Learn to do them yourself...there is plenty of information on the government website and there's a number you can call and they will answer your questions for free..also some of the tax prep software is free for certain people
