I went to a film screening here. I found the place difficult to access safely by bicycle. And the bike parking was severely limited. Also, the building itself is a bit of a maze. But once I found the right place, I found it perfectly suited to the purpose.

The Bronson Centre is a diverse community of non-profit agencies and charities. We are home to 40 permanent, tenant organizations. Our permanent tenants provide services ranging from brain injury and mental health support to an alternative school for young adults, a food bank, classical music training for children, Scottish dance, indie concerts and much, much more. We also provide short term room rentals. These rooms are suited for meetings and activities for up to 50 people. We also have two other unique facilities: an 850 seat performance theatre and a reception hall with 200 seats and a completely renovated kitchen. Over the years, we have served 100’s of non-profit, community organizations, and families for activities ranging from annual general meetings to fund raising and cultural events. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Come join our family. Charity at its best!

I attended a Dashboard Confessional (w. The Elwins) concert in the main auditorium in early March 2018. The acoustics of the room were incredible. The organizers made great use of the entrance to Mac Hall (a gymnasium / secondary auditorium in the southwest corner of the building) providing ample room for ticket collection, refreshments and coat check, and leaving the main foyer available for merchandise, more refreshments, and meet&greet space. The building is a decommissioned high school and aesthetically is showing the signs of heavy use over the years. Combined with the excellent sound quality of the main auditorium, the atmosphere was perfect for this type of show.

Decent venue, they'll have some good bands occasionally. A bit on the older side in terms of facilities in my opinion

A pillar of support for the charitable and non-profit community. Plus, an important venue for live performance!
