Though not as popular as Grand Bend Beach, Canatara Park has a very nice sandy beach with clear waters, and is always not too busy. It is a perfect spot for families, with a life guard on-duty and 2 washroom buildings at both ends of the beach. Sometimes, a food truck will park in the parking lot as well. In some areas there is some gravel on the beach, close to the water, so a pair of aqua shoes could be very useful. Observing the sunset there is stunning!!

I love the cool temp of the water and the cleanliness.. The beach is itself is also clean and there seems always a place to set up. Lol maybe i shouldn't give such a great review.... Have fun and be safe!!

Great beach. Well kept. Great conenience The citizens of Sarnia should be proud of having a beach so close and convenient. The sand beach is wide and long enough for both small and large groups to enjoy. The is a strong current so you need to watch kids and non swimmers. There are small stones at water edge bot otherwise a sad beach for easy entrance and exit. Visibility can be limited especially near shore.

Wonderful place to pass one day outing. O have enjoyed a lot. Most importantly, I have enjoyed the beach cuzz, the water is so clean and no salt water.

Nice park and beautiful blue water. I gave it a 4 star cause the Beach has lots of stones and the water is usually cold. Also life guards are not present all over the beach so u swim at ur own risk. The water is deep so be careful for ur young kids.
