I wish I could rate this Toronto library location higher because the library itself is great (how can you complain about an amazing selection of books all free to borrow in a beautiful, clean building?!). However, for such a large library, the parking lot is definitely not adequate. Ideally, I wouldn't have to circle around for over 10 minutes to get a spot nor park at the mall or medical building next door and then walk over just to return a few books. Also, I've found that the staff are not always that helpful. Most recently, I was given a very hard time when I wanted to renew my library card. I had changed my last name and even though I had my marriage license, birth certificate, two government issued IDs, and credit cards with my new name on them, the staff member was extremely reluctant to renew my card. I was so embarrassed that she was making such a big deal about it that other patrons started coming to see what was going on. Needless to say, I left pretty annoyed.

I visit the library at least every 2 weeks & I find it to be a great place to visit, to increase my knowledge & to grow. The books are informative & always available for anyone who loves to read. The new renovated library & theatre is superb.

Very nice setting like other TPLs. The wifi is a bit on the slow side, but that is to be expected, since it has many visitors. The children's PC section should be moved. It is too close to the reading area and causes disturbances for readers. The staff is well trained and can manage disrespectful visitors to a good extent. I really like this branch and wish everyone else an enjoyable visit.

I have been coming to this Toronto Public Library since mid-2015. My visits were quite regular from April 2017 right until now. I have been to and leveraged services (study rooms, books, computer work station etc.) at different Toronto Public Libraries across the city including the biggest one at Yonge and Bloor. By far the Fairview Library is the cleanest and quietest Toronto Public Library in my opinion. They have good number of study junctions, study booths and personal study tables. Furthermore, this library has adequate amount of computers (normally cleaner keyboards, mouse etc.) and normally you can reserve one without having to wait too much. Overall great place to study, engage in job search activities and acquiring knowledge. The environment here will help with YOUR struggles and/or add to YOUR success. I am grateful to this library. God bless!

Wonderful library, one of the best I’ve been to. Def worth a check to study/leisure readings. Does get full sometimes might suggest bringing an extension cord for extra outlets incase you/others need.
