I have never been here before and my husband and I went for a comedy show recently and had a great time. It seemed as if they were under new ownership so they just figuring things out that being said they only had drinks not even a bag of peanuts for sale. I heard they have never really had food so maybe that's normal but that is the only reason I knocked a star off. I was starving thinking we would be able to have a night out with a couple cocktails and apps...maybe next time...they were so nice and accomodating I would love to give them another shot!

The venue was nice, the bands were great but organization of the event needs work. Our tickets stated a time of 6pm. We got there around 4:30pm. The website said the doors typically open an hour before. We didn't get in until 6:30pm. Tickets were general admission for main floor or baloney. We had main floor. After sitting down, we were told to move because we didn't have VIP sitting. I did bring it up to the organization, but their solution was to put me on a side row . This was the worst event that I have been to specially since I drove over 9 hrs for my daughter.

Absolutely awesome experience at the Emerald! The building looked awesome super clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and were having good time at there jobs! Bartender Robby had a great positive attitude and was always helpful. John (the event supervisor I think) was so helpful and kind! Not to mention Easton Corbin blew it out of the water and didn't miss a note! I go to a lot of concerts at halls and theaters all over the state, and this is not always the case. I will be watching to see what shows are coming to the Emerald so I can go back!

This place is awesome and is being remodeled by a top-notch developer and his staff. They've really brought this place back to life. For anyone who has been around the Mt. Clemens area for a while, you'd notice the obvious difference in the atmosphere at the theater. Also, the Rock Room is a great little cocktail lounge with good live music on the weekends. Highly recommended.
