If you are looking for a small, intimate great little theatre with exceptional entertainment, this is your venue. Saw a really good play here (Joan Allen is a member of the Theatre Company here) and had excellent seats with great prices. Refreshments at a good cost in the lobby to boot. Thanks so very much for this super nice venue.

Astounding, gripping performances. Offers a season of wonderful variety. The plays are thought-provoking and stimulating more often than a feel-good plot. Extremely talented actors. Staging is incredible. Costumes are amazing. Wonderful value for the performances provided. Student tickets available. Small store with scripts for purchase. Can bring in drinks to the seating area purchased from the in-theater bar. Now also has an attached bar for before or after connections.

Excellent plays in a great space. The Red card is a great deal for folks in their 20s. I've had a couple of issues with losing cards, needing to change tickets, etc and the customer service has always been impeccable.

Great theatre, reasonable ticket prices. Of the three plays i have seen there, two were amazing plays and the other was good. Right off the red line, so super easy to go to.

I love attending productions here. The ensemble members are award winning actors that bring productions to life! The theatre is the perfect size and it’s surrounded by amazing restaurants to go to before the production. If you’re looking for quality theatre productions there is no better theatre in Chicago than Steppenwolf Theatre!
