Just left this store, after speaking with the manager. I bought an ethernet cord from this location a few days ago. I opened the cable and tossed away the bag and receipt. I then realized that my landlord bought a cable for me the same day as well, and hooked it up. Long story short, I wanted to return the product, because I recently had surgery and have had to take some time off of work, so money is verrrry tight. I CALLED the store in advance knowing that I had thrown away the packaging/receipt and asked if it could still be returned. The girl told me that I would need to know exactly what day I made the purchase and what other products I had purchased at the same time, so that she could look up the receipt. With less than a quarter tank of gas, and no money in the bank, I drove to the store to return the product ...all for the $20 that I couldn't afford to throw away on a cable I no longer need. The manager would not accept the return, not for store credit or exchange or refund. He said that without the packaging there was no way for him to even know the product number. I brought up the fact that there are other ethernet cords right there that he could get the number from, because I bought this one from that shelf. He said that without the plain clear bag that it came in, he couldn't resell it. I brought up the fact that they don't come in company packaging... it's just a plain clear bag at this type of store... he said "well I don't just keep extra bags lying around". I told him I know that he's able to take the return and said please... I quote on quote said "I'm asking for a courtesy here..." as I know it's at his discretion as to whether or not to accept the return. And he still said no. The simple fact that I CALLED in advance to make sure they would accept the product, should be enough to convince him to take it back. I would never have driven the distance and used my gas if they had said on the phone that they wouldn't take it when I explicitly said that the product was new and unused, but that I threw the packaging and receipt away. I pleaded once more saying that I shop at their store OFTEN and am asking for a courtesy and he said "sorry". I told him he's not genuinely sorry if he's ABLE to do something for me and choosing not to, despite knowing that I spend lots of money in there on a regular basis. I have typed out all of the back and forth interaction to be clear on what was said and this manager's way of dealing with customers. VERY poor customer service. Lacks compassion. Inconsistency in terms of what's said on the phone and what is delivered in person. Now that I'm reading through reviews, there are previous customers who have said the same thing. Just last month, I bought my new laptop from this location! The laptop is great but after this experience, I wish I'd given my money to another store. Very disappointed.

I was on the hunt for a compact flash memory card for my digital SLR and sure enough none in stock this order online bs should make stores realize that if they keep on saying order online everyone's going to order online and all the stores are going to shut down and no more jobs just saying

I bought a power surge and it never work. I exchanged it twice in one week in one all defective. I forgot my recipe with the store manger and he refused to help me. Worst store manager ever. Never will be returning to this place

Good prices, good selection (for the type of products they carry at those good prices). Good service too (it was not busy at the time I visited)

The sales guy answered all my questions and facilitated my wish to see and try the remote control for the TV. As a result I'm a happy owner of a new TV. Very pleased with the boxing day deal I got and with my in store experience. All the little issues were resolved on the spot by the cashier. It's nice not to be pressured by the sale guys and to feel rushed etc.
