So I asked along with other customers of the bar if we could hear some Aretha Franklin to honor her in the event that she passed on today. The bartender Lynnette wanted to get an attitude with me after she stated she would change it to her over 45 mins ago and she still hadn’t done so. Her reply was she doesn’t have time to change it which takes 2 seconds but your standing around running off at your mouth to her friends. I think I’ll pass on this establishment as long as she is around.

Good service. One of the bartenders took a minute to warm up to us, but seemed to be more friendly later on. A friend of mine reserved the third floor for her birthday and pregame for the Tigers game.

Nice Art Deco bar in the District Detroit where we used to call Foxtown. Great happy hour prices and selection from 4pm to 7pm. When I was there the kitchen was weirdly not working except for cheeseburgers. Yep you can order anything you want to as long as it is a cheeseburger. Service was good and the barmaid made some awesome drinks.

Place looked nice, atmosphere was ok. Would not call it cozy. Took my date there for drinks before a show at the Fox Theater. Maybe I missed a sign or something but sitting right across from the bar at a table where 3 workers were more interested in carrying on their conversations than taking an order, I struggled to get us drinks even walking up to the bar myself. The drinks we got were good but the whole visit was off putting. Glad to experience another new place in Detroit but won’t be back.
