This place is awesome and safe to grow at your craft or even start in acting. They give you all the basic knowledge you need about the art of acting and the business of acting. I have had such luck with the people I have met there in finding jobs because of the professionalism they teach at MAS. The teachers are amazing people who are currently working in the business. Honesty and Integrity is the what MAS represents. Even the seasoned actors come back to re take classes to keep their tools sharp and it just makes for even more of a learning experience that is priceless.

Everyone is professional and focused. Improv instruction is so much more than other places...you feel accomplished. Stand up classes are different too...stage and writing are one thing, but personal attention makes it better. The acting classes are well-placed, and give lifetime tips. Really cool.

Have taken many classes here over the years and feel very well trained for TV and Movie acting. Rich and Rachel REALLY know what they are doing in this very exciting, fun, educational environment. I have never seen two people with such a passion for teaching and it carries through to all of the teachers on staff. I wish I could give them 10 stars, I love this place.

I attended Michigan Actors Studio from August 2009 until December 2013 when I moved to LA to live out my days (I am 60 now) as an actor. What I love about MAS is the dedication of Rich & Rachel (owners) to their students and their dreams. Also, they seek out and hire some of the best working actors to teach such a great variety of classes. This truly helped me prepare for my move to LA where you really need to be at the top of your game. In my first year here I booked several commercials, three cable TV shows, an industrial film, two infomercials, and two stage plays. Anyone that knows about acting in LA knows this was a great first year! All possible because of my training at Michigan Actors Studio. I am soon returning to Michigan to film a supporting role in a feature film and will surely stop in for a class or two.
