Terrific service department. I had a leak behind the toilet in my camper while on the road, a long way from home. Called, got a next day appointment, they took it in right away, fixed it fast and didn't charge an arm and leg. I'm very pleased to have a working toilet again and very grateful. Really nice guys, too -- I appreciated the friendliness.

Had a wonderful experience today. We are six thousand miles from home and had a fairly urgent problem pop with our coach yesterday afternoon, called this am they got us directly in and quickly repaired with a very reasonable bill. They even helped me with a second repair that was not as urgent but certainly helped with my comfort level. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Thanks to PEI Home & RV Centre our holiday to the East Coast was saved. Our slider cable, which had supposedly been repaired by our Ontario dealer, broke the second day of our trip. The service people at PEI Home & RV were able to get us up and running in 4 days (not the 4 weeks the other centre took to not fix it right!). Everyone at the Centre were helpful, friendly and, most importantly, capable. Can not thank or recommend them enough!

I’m writing this as a fair warning to others who are currently in the position I was in back in 2017- looking for an excellent company to be responsible for the build of my brand new mini-home. This is an honest review (one which was impossible to find while I was in the process of deciding) of dealing with Rob Hambly and Prestige Homes Charlottetown (PEI Home & RV Centre). Had I asked around PEI first or was able to easily access reviews of their ‘affordable housing’ department, I never would have gone through with hiring them. I HIGHLY recommend doing your research before hiring this company. The pricing they charge in comparison to the quality/professional service, and contract work they provide leaves A LOT to be desired. My biggest regret in my build is hiring this company. I signed a contract with this company in the summer of 2017 to build my mini-home, my home was here mid-December of the same year and it has now been over 1 year since the home has been on my property and fully paid for. If you do end up hiring them- please don’t pay them until EVERYTHING has been completed, as promised and agreed upon because they don’t touch-base, will not respond and become increasingly worse to deal with. I made the mistake of paying them with a few last things needing to be done and I am still waiting. Yesterday I went in to touch base before my one year warranty runs out (also beware: other mini-home companies on PEI offer a much better warranty than Prestige offers- please check Supreme Homes, if I was to do this again they would be my first choice!) As usual, I was met with defensiveness and excuses from Rob. I really feel he is the wrong person to be dealing with people in this profession. He is not a nice person and will not under any circumstances admit his own mistakes and lacks professionalism. He has zero empathy and has unfortunately made what could have been an excellent experience for me- a nightmare. If you challenge him on any of his lies or mistakes he speaks over you, won’t listen and throws personal insults and attacks at the consumers paying the company hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even yesterday after waiting over a year for this process to be completely finalized, he told me I have no patience and that things are what they are (with a big shoulder shrug). When they built customized kitchen cabinets- he blamed me for not realizing the fridge they provided me wouldn’t fit properly and expected me to pay for replacement of a bigger one that would fit. He said I should have known the standard ones wouldn’t fit custom cabinets they made me. I really can say a lot of things that could have gone much better with a nicer person dealing with things- someone who can openly communicate and offer empathy when necessary, which Rob lacks. I can name many things that would have made this experience not such a nightmare- however explaining all here would make this review a lot longer than it already is. I’m happy to discuss everything with anyone if they have questions regarding my experiences with them though. I was just going to let this experience go and not publicly voice my opinion because Rob has tended to focus on me being the problem rather than look at their own unprofessionalism and lack of quality. Don’t believe the insults he throws at you though- he is someone who feeds off of making others feel bad in order to make himself feel better about himself. After yesterday though, I feel it is necessary to at least offer the opportunity to let someone possibly avoid going through a similar experience. Please just ask around first. There is a lot of negativity surrounding this company and especially surrounding Rob Hambly and his treatment of people. I wish I had done my due diligence before signing on with this company. There are other really good mini-home production companies on PEI that you don’t need to deal with the treatment offered at Prestige in Charlottetown. May my lesson learned be a warning to others to please, please, please do your research before hiring.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an RV. I can honestly say it's the best service I've had on PEI! It was very easy to purchase and go through the whole process of buying an RV for the first time. Just a great place!
