This is a wonderful place to visit and don't forget walking shoes, so you can experience all of the area. Here you can learn about the history behind the book or just as bit of history of the area if you know nothing about the book. The grounds are beautifully kept. However, this is then broken up with the neighboring golf course and major construction going on abutting this property. We arrived early and it was great. The parking lot only had a few cars. When we were leaving, just a few hours later, people were frantically looking for a place to park. Overall it was a good value as the admission fees are low, maybe two hours to see everything if you arrive early, and the place is beautiful.

Loved it! Take the quick 20 min tour before checking out the house as the guide gives you some good background info and then you can see the things he points out in the house. (House has AC!) The walking trails are great (stroller friendly, with a couple stairs you need to pack up/down). The grounds were very nice. Got to meet ‘Anne,’ she was super friendly. Enjoy some raspberry cordial from the ice cream shop. Gift shop has any “Anne” item you could want. But not much for authentic items if that’s what you want. Highly recommend if you are ever in PEI.

Magical experience visiting PEI and the green gables heritage site. Being a huge fan of the books and this being my first time visiting there was an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia walking through the beautiful grounds. It was an inexpensive entrance fee in my opinion but I can see how someone who isn't familiar with the story can be a little bored. My husband was one of those people but I think my excitement was contagious because he did have a good time regardless of not being familiar with it. Would definitely come back again and I recommend it to any 'Anne' fans out there, it will not disappoint!

This was a really fun place. Loved the house! My daughter loved the house so much that we did another run through. There is an old carriage that you can sit in and have your photo taken and you can even dress up like Anne! They have a lovely gift shop. We got our daughter an Anne doll - a vynil one so it would be easier for her to play with versus the porcelain. Beautiful spot.

Unless you’re a fan of the novels, don’t waste your time and money. There’s really nothing to do here. There’s an old house to walk through and a couple trails. Best part for us was the nice walk through the woods. It was a nice way to kill an hour with our toddlers; however, we paid a lot of money to walk through the woods and see an old house that didn’t really mean anything to us. If we were fans of the novels, this place would have been very interesting.
