Immense, sans âme, seuls les balcons suspendus sont amusants ! Il y eut pourtant dans les années 70 des spectacles mémorables dans cette salle qui donnèrent l'espace d'un soir une âme à cette salle glacée ! Je me souviens d'Alan Stivell qui fit danser la salle au complet dans les allées ! Shawn Phillips y triompha plusieurs fois avec son band Quatermass et en duo avec son extraordinaire pianiste (Peter Robinson tournée 76). Tangerine Dream aussi, le célèbre groupe planant allemand y fit un concert hallucinant ! Dans les vapeurs de haschich on arrivait à faire disparaître cette horreur de salle au modernisme froid ! King Crimson récemment y triompha (me rappelant vaguement cette époque, dans un spectacle trop parfait), mais sans les vapeurs de haschich et le SPIRIT de l'époque ! Finalement il n'y a jamais eu d'autres directions dans cette salle que le fric et la rentabilité ! Mais que pourrait-on y faire d'autre?
