We stayed at the Hotel Manoir d'Auteuil for three nights this week and had a wonderful time. Like all of the other reviewers say, the staff is absolutely amazing and they really take customer service to another level. Very accommodating and always asking if we had any questions or needed directions or recommendations. The hotel itself is on the small side, 22 rooms I believe. It has a very European feel and is clean. Nothing exotic and there is no elevator, so it's a climb to the third floor when you might be tired from walking all day. But I wouldn't take away any stars for that. The location is perfect, on the outskirts of the old city but convenient to anywhere that you want to walk. Will definitely stay there again.

My wife and I absolutely loved staying here. It's not ridiculously fancy, but we found it to be very comfortable, ideally located, memorable, and accomadating in our junior suite. What truly makes this place so great is the staff! The people are all so kind, patient, and helpful. We were absolutely amazed by how helpful the staff was to us over our 5 days of stay. The staff actually lowered the travel stress(es) one may sometime encounter when traveling, by being so outgoing, welcoming, and helpful in recommending places to go, crowded areas to avoid, fine places to dine at, etc., etc., etc... The breakfasts there were great starts to our days, as well, offering us quiche, fruit, yogurt, and incredible croissants, & the bar was also a great finish to our days. Again, the staff was the leading influence in our enjoyment of our breakfasts and our late afternoon or evening stops at the bar. The staff, I would say, had the biggest influence over our enjoyment to our visit. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Quebec City.

Beautiful hotel inside the old city walls. Perfect base for exploring all the key attractions, with the main streets (for bars and restaurants) just minutes away. The room was delightfully French in style. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really made the stay for us. Free coffee available throughout the day (save a lot on takeaway coffee) is a great initiative, even though this does mean no coffee making facilities in the room. Would recommend it to anyone. Such a beautiful place run by a thoughtful team.

The quintessential boutique hotel in Quebec City! Gorgeous views of public green spaces and parks. Very close to many gourmet French restaurants. A gem in the heart of the old city!! Enjoy!!

We booked a room with a king bed. Turns out, we ended up in the most beautiful basement room. Stone walls, plush decor, and the one and only room with a door to the garden. The bed was unbelievable comfortable. Everyone in staff at this place was warm, accommodating, and wonderful.
