The restoration and renovation of this jewel-box theater is nothing short of exquisite. The installation of an elevator makes it so much easier to go from lower level bar and restroom to mezzanine. And the addition of a Broadway-sized house to the roster of theaters in which 2nd Stage Theater presents its season brings this wonderful organization up to the same level of professionalism and possibility as the Roundabout, Manhattan Theater Company, and Lincoln Center Theatre.

Great shows. Great theater. Great staff. Bathrooms. No so great. Long lines. That is why the 4 stars. Should be 4 1/2.

Seats were relatively comfortable. Small theater so the line to get in moved very quickly. Easy to get to and so close to Times Square, other theaters, Junior's and many other restaurants. Front row seats are no uncomfortable. Some of the old architecture in the building is beautiful. The set up was organized and the line moved quickly.

Great place to catch a well-produced show (saw Straight White Men). Intimate seating - Great seats even on the back-back row. Staff was very helpful and prices were fairly less exploitive than at many other Broadway shows. Tip: If you’re on a budget and don’t mind sitting wherever, try getting Rush Tickets from the TodayTix app. Odds aren’t great but it’s worth a shot to get in.

This theater, in which I saw, "Lobby Hero", was very homey. It was sort of small and cement, if you can picture that. It was cool, and the stage seating itself was on the smaller side, so it felt almost nicer to watch the show for you were seeing things better than you would in say The Majestic Theatre. There were in fact bathrooms, two. A bar and places to sit, a tv as well that would broadcast the show if for some reason had to be out in the lobby. It was nice though, it accommodated me.
