First time I went (with another woman), we were given a full tour of the place but ended up not staying. It was quite intimidating despite staff being very kind. Second time I went (with a man), the handsome gentleman at the counter kindly walked us to the "couple"/roped off section downstairs. We were hoping another couple would be showing off for our viewing pleasure, but no luck! Most of the (creepy) men were sitting/standing (some on their phones, so be mindful of your privacy) at the back and many came standing behind/on the side to jerk off trying to catch a glimpse. Being at the actual theater knowing a few other people may see you is exciting. This was not it but I'm glad I tried (and might do it again?). We ended up going upstairs and had a lot more fun there! Minus one star because the theater has definitely had better days and could definitely benefit from minor improvements. It's worth a visit for the thrill/experience nonetheless! Hope this review helps convince some couples/single women to join in on the fun!

That place is Wild! First of all, as a first timer couple, Fabio made us feel very welcome and and explained a few key points before leading us to the mezzanine..... And was I not disappointed! ... So yeah, if you are a horny couple, that's the place to go!...

I walked into Cinéma L’Amour not knowing whether I’d leave enlightened, scandalized, or slightly more cultured. Spoiler: it was all three. The décor? A charming cocktail of vintage sleaze and ‘your uncle’s sketchy VHS collection from 1987.’ The seats? Surprisingly comfy for a place that’s seen more action than the Fast & Furious franchise. Staff was super chill, like they’ve seen it all—and trust me, they have. I asked for popcorn, they gave me a look like, “sweetie… you sure that’s what you came for?” This isn’t just a cinema—it’s a rite of passage. A cultural experience. A Montréal institution where the walls whisper, the screen moans, and the floors... well, wear thick shoes. 10/10 would bring a friend just to see the look on their face.

My wife and I visited last winter, it was a lot of fun. Note, bring cash. Does anyone know of another cinema like this in the US or Canada?

I go there twice a year and enjoy myself every time I go. I always see some very interesting sights, but really enjoy going to see the very attractive and cordial woman that works behind the counter. It is well worth the modest entrance fee charged.
