Had to exchange vehicle because of nail in tire. Process was okay but confusing as originally rented from Crowne Plaza location. Fees were absurd and was given two potential prices. Was told to check at counter upon returning new vehicle. Arrived just before 6PM on a Saturday to hand my keys to the worker, asked him the question about the amount I was charged, was told only his manager had access and that he’d ask. He takes the keys, goes through the door, shuts off the lights and never came back!! While I was waiting, 2 other people with reservations showed up for their rentals.... no one was there!! One lady had two small kids, a 4 week rental and had to book with Budget/Avis... what a mess! Why close at 6PM on a Saturday with people coming off flights with reservations! Hertz at the airport needs some fine tuning and perhaps a customer service workshop!

The Hertz rental car system at the Moncton airport is absolutely horrible. When you return the vehicle, unlike most airports, instead of having someone in the parking lot to check your car, print your receipt and send you on your way, you have to walk all the way to the counter inside the airport, wait in line behind people who are picking their car up and then the rep at the counter has to leave (yeah you read right), go all the way to the parkade, check your car, then come back to the counter to close the contract. It's a 30 mins affair!! I get that it's a small airport, but that's just ridiculous.

VERY slow, gave us a bad car, and made us wait for them to go and check the car while our flight was about board. You're better off going to Budget or Enterprise next door.

The employees here were very friendly at both check-in and check-out for our two week rental. We had rented an infant car seat as well and when we arrived at the airport to get the mid-size car, they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a mini-van which was super handy and extremely nice of them for our east coast tour with all the baby gear in tow. I would definitely use them again and hats off to them for being so generous. It was a great first experience in Atlantic Canada.

We reserved and paid for a two week rental car. When our plane landed, the hertz booth was closed. All the other rental booths were open! Now we have no vehicle! Called the toll free number and were basically told too bad and that we were out of luck! Not even an apology!
