Travel to and from the Fredericton Airport quite frequently. I had a flight scheduled for Monday - when I got there they were experiencing a power outage. I am not sure whether it was due to weather, but flights were delayed as a result. I moved my flight to Tuesday, same time. Again, flights were delayed but this time due to lack of Porter staff to accommodate moving some passengers with wheelchairs. We finally boarded about 30 minutes after take off time. While on the tarmac we were told that they were waiting for the baggage itinerary to print because the power had gone out again. Hopefully they are able to update their infrastructure and get some back-up generators!

Lightning fast to get checked in and through security. Frankly, the 45-minute lead time for bags on Air Canada seems a bit wasted here all things considered. Food options are scarce, one café before security and a couple vending machines after (one of which vends and displays cold sandwiches) - The café's automatic coffee maker does do decent espresso drinks at least. Could really do with an expansion though, as Fredericton handles far too many flights to only have what's effectively one dual gate per company. Additionally, more space would permit better food options. Parking is also fairly cheap here, with short term costing a flat $2 and long term being well below that of larger airports.

Extremely limited facilities, especially past the security check in where there are no accessible agents for the airlines, nor are there are concession stands after check in, for an international airport.. yeesh. Wifi is the "Fred e-zone" - it's so awful I can't load the Air Canada website

None of the vending machines beyond security take tap or credit...you need to use the white label ATM to get cash. Bring cash!

The airport is fine but holy frig update your short term parking payment system. Add an option for credit card or just get a new machine to accept the cash! I had to try 3 different toonies before I escaped the parking lot! I'm a millennial! I'm lucky to have ONE unit of physical cash on me let alone three.
