Mismanaged, overpriced for breakfast extremely slow. When asking one of the staff for help were told that we had to talk to our server. 45 minutes and no food or coffee refill. Had to catch a plane and the people beside us were trying to find there server as parts of there food was not cooked. As well one waiter was busy yelling at a person who needed to pay. I found the mgr who told the staff 3 different time to switch from breakfast to lunch and back again. New restaurant you expect problems but that is what training and soft opening is for. This is an airport things need to be quick. Not a night out for dinner. I would not advise recommending this establishment.

This airport is too short on offering eating options in the departure zone. Prices are rip off. Tried to eat at Yellow Belle Brewery at the airport. Tim's like breakfast sandwich cost $9 vs. $3 at Tim's! Waited for muffin for 15 minutes.

With the new departure terminal open, St. John's airport is as convenient as any international airport. There are more food options now, however, if you are vegan not many, so you may be better packing your food from the city. Also the food at the airport is very expensive. I loved the use of local attractions and flavour on the art that has been put up. The new departure terminal is extremely convenient with power sockets everywhere. Nice seating and for parents looking to enagge their kids while they wait for the flight a lovely play area.

Flying in and out find this airport the coolest ie best one in my life span. After 3 months while traveling through this airport I was amazed by seeing the new extension and couldn't believe I am at same airport I visited just a quarter of year ago. Amazing setup of everything. God bless you St. John's and NL. Keep moving ahead.

Love this airport and everyone we've dealt with, from check in to security to gate staff! Have never had to wait more than 20 minutes in any line at any time of the day when flying out or returning home. Have yet to see the "renos" but will do that this week. Small and easy to find everything! This is your "Big City" airport on a smaller scale, and this ain't your "Big City" Airport in terms of attitude, It's perfect in every aspect. For someone who hates to fly...I feel at home in this airport.
