It was once an United State Air force base, now its a local airport. Everyone from Elvis, the Queen, US Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers have flown through here.

Stephenville Airport, and Stephenville for that matter, were all part of the United States Air Force base (which is why many of the streets are named after States) and my mom use to teach there when she worked for the Air Force. A interesting place to visit - the beach has painted rocks for example - and full of memories for my mom.
