Lovely club! I really liked it! I advise everyone!!!

Dec 28, 2016
Always had a good relationship with this club, was treated fairly up until a most recent experience. To date, I have spent over $40,000 in training and A/C rentals with this club, taken many trips until coming to the realization it was time to purchase my own aircraft. Due to a maintenance issue which meant some substantial downtime with my own aircraft, I needed a backup plan for about 3 months, so I contacted the WFC to rent one of the 172's. I hadn't flown in a few years with them (although fly my own A/C on a monthly basis) so of course, I expected a check flight / written test to review my skill level. I booked the check flight, reserved the plane for a trip and looked forward to flying one of the their well maintained A/C. Suddenly, 3 days before my trip, I receive a call from the CFI saying they would rather not rent that airplane that weekend. This was not brought up at the time of booking and it was my understanding everything was all set to go (pending my checkout flight). When I asked why, there was no reason provided. I had hotels booked, events planned and time booked off. I am now left scrambling to find an airplane and extremely aggravated with this organization. As a notice to the readers, I'm a 600 hour pilot who flys regularly and has zero issues at all with this club in the past or in my flying career. Very disappointed. Beware.
