Fabulous place for plane lovers! This is a must see if you have some extra time and are in the Ottawa area! There is so much to see and take pictures of. If you go with enough time, you can learn a lot as they have tidbits of information everywhere and also do tours as well. Great place if you have a child who loves learning facts and is a visual learner. The little gift shop on your way out is filled with so many things to choose from. Definitely hard not to purchase something, especially if you love everything aviation related. Side note: Admission is free daily for the last hour that they are open, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

A great museum. Plenty of activities for kids of all ages. The exhibits are informative and interesting. If you get the chance spend the extra money for the tour of the storage hangar, lots of cool planes and artifacts on display. Plan at least 3 hours to tour the museum. My son loved the space station exhibit.

Visited this museum for their free 4-5pm. Definitely don't pay the entrance fee for this museum. It's definitely worth a visit for a free hour with your family if you have a car to get here. You can get up close with lots of different aircraft. The helicopters were the highlight as well as the small space section. Sitting in a couple cockpits were tons of fun for my kids. They have car charging stations right next to the entrance of the museum but you still have to pay for parking by buying a ticket in the regular lot.

Amazing place. Kids had a blast. I personally couldn't tear myself away from the BF 109 & the Me 163 Komet. Love that thing. A must see museum for sure, great scenic drive to and from if you want to take the parkway as well, makes for a great afternoon. Had one of the better gift shops too.

Great museum for anyone who loves planes and wants to sit in one to press all the buttons (children love it). It's easy to spent lots of time here learning or making quick visits with the kids to burn energy. The membership included the science and technology museum as well as the experiential farm. Highly recommended for families which pays off for itself in a few visits a year.
