Rip off

This towing company takes advantage of woman. I know they work with chase RCMP to get extra buisness and unnecessarily tow people for unreasonable situations. They are rude and charged all kinds of made up fees......$900.00 total for forgetting your license at home. This is ridiculous. How much are they giving the RCMP. I dont give any stars but wont let me post other wise.

Garrick Automotive took it upon themselves to pull my vehicle out of the ditch when I wasn't present, without my knowledge or consent. They took it before all 3 carseats and important personal belongings could be removed from our family vehicle. They caused more damage to the vehicle than the original accident by rolling it as they pulled it out, something they later admitted to us. They took it to their yard and didn't tell us, so that we filed a stolen vehicle report when we couldn't find it when we returned to the scene. While speaking with them about this matter on the phone they were unprofessional, unapologetic, and hung up on us. I wish there was a way I could make sure this business doesn't get paid by ICBC for towing my vehicle but my hands are tied! I had several people tell me about this business terrible reputation and shady dealings and I would never have called him to tow my vehicle but he took it upon himself to do it and now things are worse off than before he ever touched it. Shame on you, Garrick Automotive, very unprofessional and utterly infuriating!

Garrick told me they were keeping my motorcycle indoors. After I prepaid for the week impound I was charged an additional $143.00. Only to find out they didn't know how to transport a motorcycle with a flat deck. Strapping it in the middle of both tires pulling it tight with a 10 tonne wrench. It fell over sliding across the truck deck causing $1400.00 damage. They even tried to fix my mirror hoping I wouldn't notice damage to my dream bike. I've been told it fell over in their yard and it's not they're responsibility. I asked for $380.00 out of $1400. Haven't heard a word. Bikers beware it just might be they're first day on the job!?they ended up paying me $90. They said I could jb weld my bike back together. I saved up. For 3 years for that bike that does nearly 200 mph. I hope the jb weld hols guys.

Blocked off the street and sat there talking. Could have absolutely backed up a foot to let traffic through and didn't seem to be in any kind of rush once he saw people trying to get to their houses. Super unimpressed. Maybe park along the street to have a conversation then block it off when you actually have the intention of loading a vehicle?
