I was towed tonight at around 1230Am because my Engine mount blew on my Camry and the Guy on the phone was professional and called his driver immediately. I instantly felt good knowing that he was on point, and the driver was there in minutes. This late at night was refreshing to see such punctuality. Anyways, the towing cost was reasonable, he gave me a lift to my Apartment, and even suggested replacement vehicle compatible to mine at the company. I am very grateful for such hospitality considering I am new to Chicago. When I see bad reviews sometimes I think about the character of the person writing it. I say if your courteous and respectful and especially honest and straightforward with people in any business, you will get the same in return. Thanks North Shore for being a good business model. Awesome service and positive attitude. Had a difficult extraction of a non running vehicle with a flat tire from garage. Watching him work was awesome! Definitely have the knowledge and experience to handle any job and make it seem no problem.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Very rude drivers and overall bad company. I was “towed” due to street cleaning l, which was posted yes, but I went outside to find my vehicle on the flatbed, and they were going to hook up a second car to the back. I tried to get my car down, but they charged me the full price of the tow. I got it down for $145 and it would have been $145 if I went to the tow yard to pick it up. My other experience with them is when we were unloading our car and a truck pulled up to tow another car parked next to me, which I don’t think he had the right to tow because the car was not on the drive way. The driver was rude to me for no apparent reason when I said I was just unloading and said someone was on their way to tow me, even though I was AT MY VEHICLE UNLOADING IT. Glad they wasted gas sending a flat bead to come get my vehicle even though I was clearly going to move it when I was done unloading. Very rude driver, but I guess he fits in well with the company as a whole. Overall, from my experiences as well as the reputation I hear about them, please take your business elsewhere. I have never heard a single decent thing about this company. As a side note, when they hooked up the car next to me, the driver sped off and I heard the front end of the car hooked up scratch the ground, so I guess unprofessional drivers too that feel the need to speed off instead of going slow and making sure to not damage vehicles.

After some back and forth then no message, I was left waiting after work for two hours for a tow-for-salvage that never came. It had to be rescheduled for the next day. Then that experience was great - efficient, fair, and courteous.
