2nd time this has happened. Called 9:22 said 45 mins for a tow. I Called 10:15 says driver has a drop off and right over. I Called 11:10 to cancel no site of the driver. Just be honest with your customers

These deplorable humans with no regard for customer service are on contract with the Durham Regional Police. As a result, they treat both you and your vehicle like you're unworthy of their "service." Had my 2014 VW Tiguan impounded recently (for reasons beyond my control) for 45 days. When I arrived, after paying $2800.00 (yes, you read it correctly), they had no clue where my vehicle was, and when they did find it, it was pinned behind another vehicle for which they could not find the keys. My husband had to literally remind them they could easily tow it to move it since they are, after all, a towing service. After towing the other vehicle, they watched me for 10 minutes try to get mine out as all 4 tires spun incessantly on sheer ice. They walked back in as I continued to try to get it out. Luckily my husband was able to finally get it out. Since the vehicle literally didn't move for 45 days, the engine light and tire pressure monitoring lights are now on, in fact there is another light on I've never even seen before. These lights definitely were NOT on when it was towed. I would have thought that a company towing vehicles for a living would know the worst thing for a vehicle is for it to sit idle without it being moved or at least started for an extended period of time. It is absolutely disgusting that these people get away with literally committing highway robbery, taking advantage of their deal with the cops. No empathy or care for anyone and making a mint off the cops who could care less either. Thanks for that, Jim's Towing and DRP. Now I can't afford to have my vehicle looked at because I spent every last penny I had to get my vehicle out of impound, only to have it require service that it did not require previous to it being impounded. May I suggest Jim's adopt some sort of policy regarding impounding a vehicle for an extended time, and a really easy one: how about starting and/or moving it around once and a while? How tough would that be? You charge a very handsome fee for people's NICE vehicles to sit dead in a junkyard with a bunch of write offs. Not all of the vehicles you get are insurance claims, did you know??!!! How hard would it have been to offer me a tow when the truck was right there? Oh, yeah right...you would have had to charge me for that too. Sick to my stomach over this treatment. Escalating this for sure. PS. Only gave 1 star as it wouldn't let me post my comment without it.

Highly recommend Jim's Towing, especially Mike. I was very anxious for a number of reasons, but Mike was incredibly kind and empathetic. I told him he might moonlight as a professional psychiatrist! He was prompt, professional, and calmed me down. Side note - for those complaining about the cost of a tow, tows are CRAZY EXPENSIVE. That has nothing to do with Jim's towing, it's just the industry. Get a roadside assistance plan with CAA or Canadian Tire. Mine pays for itself every single year, without question.

Was okay, had to pay impound fees. Very expensive as car was not there 24 hrs.
