Local Corruption Do Not Call Penn!

Do Not Call Penn Automotive for anything! They take advantage of people when vulnerable. They are being called by police when other more reputable companies are closer to the accident scenes. They have had lawsuits against them by Insurance Companies. They are getting away with charging Insurance rates to private consumers. Stop this local corruption once and for all! Our son was charged $830.55 for a tow call that was made by the police when his stolen car was found. He was never once asked if he had CAA, nor was he given the choice of tow companies. Our calls were ignored by OPP and by Penn Automotive when we were very clear that they were not to tow our sons car. You should be embarassed and not be able to sleep at night.

Got the car I was buying safetied at Penn Automotive and I received fantastic service from Mike the mechanic. The price was a lot lower than I had anticipated and he gave me a thorough explanation of the things that were necessary to fix. I would highly recommend this shop to all! And I will definitely utilize their services again!

Called for a tow from Cape Croker to Collingwood. Was quoted 600$ for that tow. Ended up not needing a tow at all and followed the tow truck driver back to the dealership and was told by him, the tow truck driver and owner, I'd only be charged from Cape Croker to the dealership, which would cost 126$. Was charged 250$ and yelled at when I tried to reason with the towtruck driver about the unreasonable price. I did not raise my voice and asked him several times why he was yelling at me, which prompted him to yell at me some more. Never calling again, would not recommend. Wish I could give negative stars. Extremely rude and unreasonable people. Total scammers.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would! My boyfriend had to give them 522.00$ to tow a dirt bike a few blocks to their lot! How do you sleep at night? How disturbing it is to know that there are some businesses in this world that take such advantage of kind innocent people. Shame on you.

This place is totally unacceptable. They don’t even know how to do the decent and appropriate repair job. And they charge for no reason.

My car got towed and their attitude were crazily bad when I went there and picked up the vehicle! They were speaking rudely, called us “morons”, “carp” and told us to stay in the city don’t ever come again. And they even hit my right from hamper and said they would be responsible for that, if I kept arguing with them, they would close the shop and wouldn’t give us back the vehicle. The worst company ever!
