Tried to rip me off for 80 dollars! After coming back and asking for the invoice he tried to break it down for me because his math was extremely confusing. After 10 minutes of explaining he told me he made a mistake. Me (being reasonable) suggested maybe it was an error in the uhaul system but he then flat out told me he made a mistake and apologized. Customer service was bad/fair. He asked for my friends name and phone number as a reference (for no reason). Overall the guy seemed shady and not someone I would want to deal with ever again. He even randomly talked about how much somebody else who was filling up his rented uhaul with gas owed him. Again for no reason. Save yourself a headache, money and time and go somewhere else. Also the man was foreign and the gas station/store/uhaul rental is owned by the family. Put your money in the locals pockets and don't deal with shafty immigrants. (I hope I offended someone)

Incredibly rude and unhelpful when trying to get information over the phone about inventory. Hung up on me the first time, and on the second call, was told they didn’t have dollies and had no idea where another one could be sourced, and hung up again.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST U-HAUL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. This location is a gas-station outlet. It took me over an hour of waiting, while the attendant (the only person on duty) had to fill up 5-6 propane tanks, authorize pumps, ring in people's gas purchases, some kid wanting to buy $2 worth of candy, etc. All of these things took priority over me, the U-Haul customer - ME. AND I WAS THERE FIRST, AND HAD EVERYTHING IN ORDER AND READY TO GO. When he finally did get to filling out the contract details on the U-Haul computer, the line-up got to 20 deep in 5 minutes, while they waited to pay for their gas, etc. They got so frustrated, they just started leaving money on the counter and walking out. I get it that he was busy at 10AM on a Saturday morning. GET SOME MORE STAFF THEN. That's what real business people do, rather than piss-off every customer by trying to save 10 bucks an hour. I'm a business owner, and this sort of thing riles me to no end. At best, I would have someone else at the till with me at all times. At worst, I would have someone I can call on as-needed, and have the U-Haul customer schedule an appointment, where I would have my Number 2 come in for the appointment to take care of the U-Haul customer. What would it cost? $10-15 at most? I will NEVER use this location ever again, and suggest you use ANY other location than this because of how bad it is. The location at Parker Street is much much better organised.
