Under no circumstances should you ever allow your car to be towed by these guys. When my brakes failed and I wound up in a ditch, my panicked instinct was to call the towing closest to where I was, that being Seneca Towing. They seeming nice enough at first but it all went downhill after that. As soon as I calmed down and got the presence of mind to call my trusted insurance broker (something I should have done first), I began remembering the negative reviews I’d read about the place my car was at. When I asked her “did I make a mistake calling Seneca” and she audibly inhaled, I knew I was in for trouble. I could write pages on how negative my experience was but let me summarize instead: Upon politely asking for them to release my car, the owner (Robert) became immediately hostile and demanded to know why. When I calmly stated that I simply wished to take my business elsewhere, he persisted and when my broker called me back he had the audacity to ask me who I was on the phone with, to the point I had to pause my call and put my hand up as to indicate for him to give me some space. He then insisted that I needed to pay the nearly $400 towing fee before returning my keys to me…in cash! Apparently they don’t take debit or credit (so as to fudge their tax return, no doubt). After managing to scrounge up the cash, he attempted to charge me an extra “winching fee”. When I questioned this and once again spoke to my broker, she informed that this was against city bylaws. I then overheard him saying to his receptionist that they would “waive the winching fee” or some such. All this time he was also feigning ignorance as to the whereabouts of my keys (I later saw him remove them from his pocket) and swearing to me that the car was “undrivable” (I drove it home just fine). I could go on but you get the point. Don’t do business with these guys, ever. Robert is a liar, a bully & a crook and I will gladly say this to his face. Don’t trust any of the positive reviews here and don’t send your worst enemy here…it’ll only put more money into the hands of these con artists.

Never ever use this tow company! If you have to walk, it would honestly be better than using these guys. Absolute crooks. We were in a minor accident did not need towing. The employee named Pablo came rolling up and pressured into getting towed. He took advantage of us and was yelling, cursing and disrespecting us in our faces. He hiked up the price by the half hour. The fact that we were women, he took full advantage and this is our first accident so we knew no better. He refused to let our car go where we wanted it to go. We will be reporting this company!

I wish I could give 0 stars. These are the most disrespectful, pushy, rude, attitudes. I don't understand why they insist and argue against the wishes of the OWNER OF THE VEHICLE. Overpriced. Incredibly over priced I cannot begin to believe how much this tow driver wanted us to pay and refused to let go of the car once we said we would pay him. He said to my face we didn't have to pay for the tow because his insurance covers it and even offered us a rental. So when he refused to let our car go until we payed him a stupid amount of money I have no idea where it came from, we didn't even take the rental car. On top of that when we told him where to drop the car he refused and when we spoke to the manager THE MANAGER THEMSELF said as long as you pay the tow driver he must drop it where you ask and this tow driver REFUSED. Do not let them take your car. Wait at the scene of the accident for as long as it takes. Don't let these people tow your car. Do not believe a word they say. Call the cops. They act nice and helpful until you start asking questions.

I had a great experience with this company. They towed my vehicle to their shop and provided advice and helped me call insurance etc.. Robert treated me like family and was helpful throughout the whole process. He provided a rental and allowed me to keep it a few extra days at no cost to help me figure things out. The rental had bad wipers on it but once I pointed it out to him he changed them immediately for me and sent me on my way. I truly couldn’t have done this without them and I had a great experience.

CONTINUED FROM KHADIJAS REVIEW. I then came home and made dinner for my four children and paid my neighbour to take me to the Seneca Towing pound thinking they closed at 7 o clock (as the website states). I reached the pound between 6:30PM to quarter to seven and met Robert. He told me the shop has closed and I told him I cannot come tomorrow. He was very rude and came right up and yelled to my face and had no regard towards my situation. Throughout the entire ordeal all I had to say to him was “How could you not know what your driver did and why did your driver not take MY car to the place where i told him (and he agreed) to take my car.” He had no answer and repeatedly said “I don’t know”, he then closed the door in my face and said “you cannot come in here”. Meanwhile he took another customer into the shop and was talking to them. Then my neighbour told me let me see what I can do, and see how soon another towing truck company could come and take my car from Seneca Towing to my mechanic. When I got a hold of the other towing company they said they would arrive there within the hour. After that my neighbour talked to Robert about the situation and Robert said he would not wait another hour and that if I wanted my car I would have to pay the whole amount of almost $600 and that he would have to keep my car overnight ( as in he would not release my car tonight no matter what which was the night of July 16th, 2018) and would release it tomorrow (July 17th, 2018). When I heard the fee of ~$600 i was shocked and was I tears at the pound because ~$600 is my pay for a week of working. I had no choice and felt trapped, he said if I paid by cash and don’t take the receipt he would reduce the fees or he said another option was that I would leave the car there, give him the ownership and I would only pay the towing fees, but I decided to pay the whole thing and have my car released the next day. The reason I took time to write this review in detail and in two parts is so that other people in dire situations aren’t stuck in the same situation as me because they might not have any money or resources to deal with Robert and his business ethics.
