The community, atmosphere, culture, opportunities, and learning environment at Laurier is simply unmatched. The professors genuinely care about your success and you quickly get to know them on a first name basis. The recent one-star reviews are due to an isolated and trivial incident that has generated unwarranted vitriol towards innocent students, staff, admin, etc. They are also posted by individuals who have never attended the university campus.

I attended this institution for 4.5 years only to realize that it is one big ponzy business scheme. Laurier facilitates racism and upholds white supremacy. I only discovered this during my last semester here and it made me regret my last 4 years here. I am now 60,000$ in debt. Oh but it’s still great to be a golden hawk though right guys? Thanks Laurier. Won’t be in touch...

Laurier is one of the best universities in Canada for so many reasons. I couldn't be happier with me decision to have completed my undergrad here and be able to call myself a Golden Hawk for life!

This is one of the greatest universities especially if you a considering a career in business. Everyone here is a family and we all want each other to succeed. Laurier truly embodies the phrase "work hard play hard" and believe me we're really good at doing both ;) Please come down and see for yourself why it's Truky Great to be A Laurier Golden Hawk!!!

I've been deeply ashamed to be Laurier alumni. My colleagues no longer see me as a intellectual but as a brainwashed SJW. The snickering I receive when I tell people I went to WLU is a cross I have been forced to bear as a result of poor judgment among the staff years after my studies concluded (particularly the communications department which in no way reflected the competence of the leaders and teachers of my field of study). It has become clear that my former university has become everything that is wrong with political correctness, free speech, and affirmative action. How a faculty of seemingly intelligent people have allowed themselves to be held hostage to the whims of a small radically left minority is beyond comprehension. Defund Laurier of public contributions! Util the university management is able to get their act together. Until they adopt measurable policies and procedures that encourage free speech, allow all thinkers to speak on the campus, stop protecting radically left professors, maintain the and defend the statues of our prime minister, allow teaching assistants to teach, and have recourse to staff who do not... tax dollars should not be going to this "institution"
