The 7-day Tour East Bus trip that I'm traveling on stopped here; we have 50 tourists in our group. The $222.50 attractions package includes access to the Whale Watching Boat Tour, Thousand Island Boat Tour, Hopewell Rocks, Maritime Museum, etc., of which this attraction is one of the experiences. We entered PEI via the NFL ferry and now leaving the island via the bridge. The 12900 metre engineering marvel opened in 1997; old technology by today's standards. Nevertheless, it's amazing! We are four touring cyclists. I called ahead and was told all would be ready when we arrived after noon. Indeed all was perfect! Mike helped load our bikes and drove us across to NB and then helped unload. He usually works for maintenance but enjoyed the break in routine and we really enjoyed his conversation and wit. Mike drives very safely and pays attention at all times to details of the traffic and the bikes and cargo. He answered questions about the bridge and was very informative. Thank you Mike!!

Interesting Bridge. Totally believe in safety first but I wish I could have seen more off the sides; very high cement barriers. A great experience.

Crossing off the bridge (took 12 minutes) was an extreme pleasure. The fact that you do not always get the chance to visit PEI. The experience was amazing and the bridge was maintained well. The toll rate was $47 before tax. Definitely worth it.

Driving across this bridge with my family was a pleasure to cross off my Canadian bucket list. The views are spectacular and the experience of driving across the ocean gave me memories of a lifetime. We took the bridge there are the ferry back and were very sad to leave P.E.I. A beautiful piece of Canada that is worth every moment you have to visit here. Highly recommended!!!
