TL;DR I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend it. This place seems to get bad reviews but I had a great experience. I came in to get my nostril pierced and they were very friendly, the place was extremely clean. I got attended to quickly and they guy who helped me was very friendly and genuinely seemed glad i was there. There were a few other people there to get pierced and since it was later in the evening there was only one piercer working so I had a seat on their comfortable couches and flipped through magazines. The wait wasn't long and I was shown in and met with the piercer who was also very friendly. She answered all the questions I had, and helped me choose a ring size and placement. The piercing hurt a lot less than i thought it would and was very quick. Afterwords my peircer instructed me on aftercare and answered a few more of my questions, and i was on my way. In terms of healing, my peircing healed faster than I thought it would, (although i kept knocking it around), no keloids at all and i still have the original jewelry in, and there have been no noticeable signs of deterioration or anything that would cause any concern for me. It still looks the same as the day it went in. I would actually recommend this place, and I think the bad ratings it gets are undeserving. I read the reviews before i went they made me really hesitant to get the piercing done here. Now im thinking of getting another peircing done and will probably come back. I dont think this place deserves all the negative buzz it gets. UPDATE: Two years later, and I havent had a single issue with the piercing. Jewelry hasn't deteriorated at all, and is still as polished as when it went in. love it and i'm glad i got it done

Was told that "because the artist cant see any visible tattoos on my body, I probably dont want this one". Uhm im pretty sure last time i checked i can make my own decisions about what to get tattooed on my body. How dare you.

I first went into pitbull back in June and had what I thought was an amazing experience. The shop was clean and the employees were friendly and the buy one get one deal made it totally worth it despite it being cash only. I would've recommended it to anyone at the time. However, nearly a year later I'm in the completely opposite position. I've had 3 piercings done there. My tragus, helix, and conch. I got my tragus last and it was the first to heal but it still took way longer than it should have. My conch and my helix however were completely different stories. Within a month of getting them done both developed large bumps on both sides. I went in to ask them about it and they told me it was a keloid and to use their keloid healing in the pamphlet and to keep washing with salt water. Fast forward to November and they still haven't healed. I was told by someone that your conch shouldn't be pierced with a hoop because it won't heal properly so I was looking for a stud to wear at culture craze. The lady working told me that pitbull pierces with a different grade of surgical steel than most places and while it's still good jewelry, most people have a hard time healing with it. So I went to a different tattoo parlour to get it changed. At this point I had to talk them into changing it for me because my conch was so bad. They agreed to it because it was too dangerous to take the jewelry out. Once it was changed it took until January to heal properly. My helix is still not healed. I went into a tattoo parlour a week ago and the piercer took one look at my helix and told me he would try to change the jewelry but there was a good chance I was going to have to take it out and re pierce it regardless as my piercer at pitbull did not pierce it straight so it was having pressure applied in weird spots causing irritation. Needless to say I spent another couple hundred bucks trying to get my piercings healed properly and the multiple times I went back to pitbull to ask questions I was told it was my fault for not caring for my piercings properly and that they couldn't do anything about it. I have 12 piercings total and have never had this many issues in my life.
