WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE
OVERPRICED
I paid $60 for 2 hands, front and back plus arms. This isn't a good price I was told by many people who say my henna was overpriced and I was ripped off.
My uber driver says his wife gets her henna done for $10 an arm for the same amount of work. (Millwood grocery area, in East Indian shop)
A Cashier from Mucho Burrito said that she can do even more detailed work for $15 an arm.
***UPDATE*** ×2
This was my terrible experience in detail:
So me and my boyfriend thought it would be pretty artsy to get henna done together. We had to book online, but that was alright 😕 We were excited and happy this place was so prompt on answering their appointment calls, they were able to get us in right away. 👌 The artist Amanda contacted us, told us to meet at this address, and started on my henna first promptly. 👍
However another party rang the door bell while the artist was in the middle of doing my henna. 😐 It was an agitated mother and her daughters, friends etc, who were mad because they went to the wrong location, and have been driving around all over the city looking for this location. They said that they booked weeks ago, then switched their story saying that They called about the booking the night prior. 😕😕???
So what does the henna artist do? She stops doing my henna, says that she'll "do their henna really quick, then do ours". 😑😑😑 so we waited. Because apparently the other party was first priority in the artists opinion, even though we were there first, and it wasn't ever our faults that somebody messed up that partys booking time and date. We waited an hour. And they still weren't even close to being done. So we left. She had the audacity to ask us if we were coming back.. Like she was so oblivious of how unprofessional she was being, and how rude and inconsiderate it all was. 😑😑😒😡😠 We messaged the organizer who contacted us to come in, and we got no response. 😒😒😒
On top of all that they didnt even mention that they cats.. I mean I love cats but my boyfriend's slightly allergic.. Sure they locked them away in a room, but my boyfriend's skin started to flare up a little after we left, if we stayed any longer, it wouldve been worst.😑😒😠
🙅🙅😪😪😑😝
***UPDATE***
2 hours after leaving, and 1 hour after messaging, the coordinator wrote us back.
She accommodated us by paying for our henna, traveling to our home, and the choice of any of their artists to come out.
The accommodations were pretty great.
Will update again on how or IF they go through with their accommodations... 👌👌👌
***SECOND UPDATE***
So the same lady did my henna. I didn't even get an option to pick a new artist. This artist did an alright job. It wasn't the best henna I've had. And it took 3 hours to do. The 1st hour was free she said because they messed up the first aapointment. The second and third hour was altogether $60. To top it off, the "artist" said that she was giving me a discount for going so long. (Like it's not my fault she's a slow artist).
Also that is a waaaay too overpriced for henna in the first place. I found out waaaay later I could've better detailed work on both hands and arms top and bottom for $10 an arm!!! 😥😒😤😠
So anyways if you're looking for overpriced mediocre henna done on you, this is your place. But I strongly do not recommend!! Save your money!!! Go someplace else!!! Get better henna! DO NOT COME HERE FOE YOUR WEDDING!! THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! 💀💀👿👿😒😒
