I've learned you get what you pay for when it comes to tattoos. My first one was done by a cheaper artist and let's just say.. it wasn't at all what I had envisioned. At sacred heart, they not only do what you want, they go that extra mile to make it everything you hoped for and more. I've got 3 medium-sized to large tattoos done by them (and will be getting more), I've referred friends and family (and they all love sacred heart as much as I do), and now I'm referring you! Look no further. You've googled the best of the best. Book with sacred heart already !!!! You won't regret it !!!

Just had my first matching tattoo at Sacred Heart with my sister, Aisha was our artist, and we are so happy with the results! Amazing customer service and clean professional environment! Will be back soon.

Very unhappy with my tattoo. Got writing on my back along the bra line in 2009. The guy who did it scarred my back. The tattoo is raised and bumpy still and completely faded. Came back a year later for a touch up as it was faded already and hard to read. Now I have a big smudge on my back that is barely legible. For the rest of my life. I went to sacred heart because of it's good reputation in 2009, and I cant blame all of the business for this awful tattoo, but I sure hope that you have a very good screening and testing process when hiring your artists. Mine was a scratcher.

Loved it! Darci is an amazing artist who brought my cherished tattoo concept to life! So happy with the result. She is also very kind and was quick to make slight adjustments to the design when I came in to get the tattoo done, and made it perfect to suit me. I will definitely be back for another one soon!

Got my first tattoo here. I was a little nervous about it, and it seems like assumptions were made by both myself and the tattoo parlor: From them that their customers are all familiar and knowledgeable about the process of getting one, and from me that everything would be explicitly explained and clarified. I think it would be helpful if they ask customers how much they know about what it's like getting a tattoo, and if they are first-timers explaining exactly how everything works. For example, I assumed that the artist would send me the sketch beforehand, which wasn't the case and found out by calling them that needs to be brought up by me well beforehand... but how would I know that if I've never done this before? And I think a major thing that prevents people from getting their first tattoo is fear, and by bringing all the information to first-timers, so they can come in with clarified expectations and more agency to take initiative so that the artist and the customer have the same vision, would help reduce this fear, and probably reduce the number of cancellations. That's not to say the staff weren't friendly... they definitely were! Anyways, I rescheduled my appointment, and worked with the artist (Tio Lu) who was very accommodating, not to mention very talented. He stayed over an hour after closing time working with me to come up with something that checked all the boxes of what I wanted (which was pretty specific). Then he tattooed it, did a great job, and it looks good! I have plans to build on it, and I'll most likely be coming back here if I decide to do that.
