Caught Operating Without An Interior Health Inspection And A Business License

Wildwood Tattoo Parlour's 3rd attempt at 'restructuring' came to an abrupt end in December 2022 after its operators, Kristopher Clement Swain and Rachelle Alexandra Edwards were raided by B.C. Interior Health and the City of Kamloops By-Law Enforcement Unit for operating without an Interior Health Inspection (according to their own Facebook page, they had been operating out of 175 - 201 4th Avenue Kamloops, BC since October 2022 without required sinks and cleaning stations) and without a Business License. This Business Is Permanently Closed After Being Raided For Tax Evasion

Kristopher Clement Swain & Rachelle Alexandra Edwards DBA Wildwood Tattoo Parlour; Rachelle Alexandra Ink; & Xandra Ink Abandoned Their Shop After Being Raided For Paying Employees Under The Table & For Tax Evasion - Left Deposit/Gift Card Holders Hanging Kristopher Clement Swain & Rachelle Alexandra Edwards (doing business as 'Wildwood Tattoo Parlour') shut down their shop at 829 Victoria Street in Kamloops, BC on June 1, 2022 after they were raided in late March 2022 for paying their employees under the table and for tax evasion. After shutting down their shop, they posted some sob story on Facebook. Emails and phone calls from customers who had given them deposits or purchased gift cards were not returned and in one instance, a customer's email 'bounced' from Wildwood Tattoo Parlour's e-mail server . AVOID THESES SCAMMERS! There are plenty of reputable tattoo artists in Kamloops from which to choose.

Just started working on a sleeve with Kris. The atmosphere of the shop is so comfortable and I immediately felt at home. Kris went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was so easy to talk to during the tattoo. It was amazing to have whats been a dream for years start to become a reality, the tattoos are even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Kris walked me through every step prior to the tattoo and was able to keep the pain to a minimum. Everyone there is fun and really loves what they do. If you're excited about getting a tattoo, come to Wildwood because they are just as stoked about it!

Had a 10/10 tattoo experience. Rachelle is a wildly talented artist and worked hard to fit my idea into a tricky spot and make sure I was happy with the look and placement. It took a while but she was very accommodating and I couldn't have asked for a better result. Professional and creative atmosphere in the shop. Standard rates for the high quality artwork. The concept design was better than what I had in mind for the piece, the line work was clean, and the colour palette is detailed and fit beautifully. I would recommend to anyone looking for a neotraditional artist in the Okanagan or Kootenays. I haven't gotten any of Kris' work but from what I saw on the walls of his art, he would definitely be worthy of booking as well.

I love Wildwood tattoo! They have an amazing collection of fantastically talented artists who specialize in different styles, and occasionally host equally awesome guest tattoo artists! The shop/store (they share a space with Oak and Aether) has an amazing, chill, super awesome metaphysical and earthy vibe, and it's a super safe and inclusive space. ♥️♥️♥️ Highly recommend to everyone.

First personal experience with Tattoo: I had no idea what to expect when one gets a tattoo. But our friends referred us to Wildwood, we (me and my S.O.) did our best to research into which tattoo place would suit our style and ideas and thought "Wildwood looks great!" Sent in our ideas over email, I got the privilege to work with Kris, and he came up with a design so well done, that my template/idea look like a kindergarten drawing. I instantly became excited and wanted it on my calf that moment. Photo included is the final and finish, second session, of my tattoo. Very tender and sore skin near the end of each session, that's just me. Highly recommend, very informative and helped me along the way with my first ever tattoo, any information or questions were answered when asked, even after hours via email if needed. Even if it's your first time or 45th tattoo, the staff at Wildwood Tattoo will take care of you in a respectful, clean and professional manner. Thank you Wildwood!
