I have had my second tattoo done at Blackwater. I have had nothing but good things to say about this place. Jon did both my tats to perfection. Jon is a no nonsense perfectionist I highly recommend. He takes pride in his work and it shows.

Bad service!!! Called and set up appointment and the artist told me I didn't need to prepay an appointment and to come in and just get tatted and pay right there and then. No calls, no pictures and no reply. Don't waste your time here. Piece of shitx place. I rather spend thousands where real artist would like my money.

By far the best tattoo shop I've been to. Very clean and the service has been excellent. All the work I have seen done by these guys is great. Highly recommend Nathan, he does great work...MORE THAN pleased with the work he has done for both me and my husband. Everyone needs to remember that these guys are not there to coddle you and hold your hand they are there to preform a service and they do it excellently. So don't listen to the few negative reviews on here...If you do not go to Black Water for the work you want done you are seriously missing out.

Grew up with this shop in town. Never thought much of it. My first negative experience here was when Jess worked here. The quality of his work was so awful, I had other tattoo artists laugh at it. Eventually had to pay thousands to have it lasered. Worth it. My second negative experience was more recent. Jon is incredibly off-putting and rude. To clarify, he is not he's not an elitist or intellectual; people who you can sometimes excuse their behavior because of their class and intellectual capacity. He's simply rude, ignorant, and uneducated. Keep in mind that there's often reasons tattoo artists can't progress their work into bigger cities. Stop acting like an ignorant redneck and your business will improve.

Jon does amazing work. I have gone to him multiple times now and he takes the time to make sure the design is exactly what you want.
