I recently had my first tattoo done with Carolina and she was incredible. She perfectly recreated my vision for the tattoo and was very easy to work with. I was nervous for the pain and she calmed me down immediately and helped me feel so comfortable. The over all atmosphere of the shop is incredible it makes you feel so confident and calm. Carolina was very helpful with aftercare and explained exactly what I needed to do and even responded to me after the tattoo when I had questions/concerns. Overall it was an amazing experience with an amazing person!

!!! I’ve followed their tattoo artist, Eva, for almost 3 years now, from Austin to NY. Her charm & genuine curiosity to learn about you/ your life is so incredibly sweet & comforting as she creates beautiful art for you to put on your body that you’re of course stoked about by the time she finishes the drawing. THEN the whole time she wins you over with her wit & infectious laugh, making the entire experience magical and fun. I’ve gotten all my fine line tattoos by her and I’ll pop a couple pictures in to show how clean it is!! Eva is a friend inside & outside the tattoo parlor.

I had a great experience here. After many disappointing experiences with traditional tattoo shops on Long Island, I decided to travel to Brooklyn to get two tattoos with Carolina. From the moment I made the appointment, I could tell the experience was going to be different because I was able to speak directly with Carolina about what I was looking for. (I feel like at most places they don't even let you talk to the artist before your appointment.) I wanted to get two meaningful tattoos -- a portrait of my dog who passed and a floral design for my two daughters -- so it was really important for me that the artist knew what I wanted and made me feel heard. When I got to my appointment, I could tell Carolina had listened to every single thing I had said. She had two designs prepared which were exactly what I was looking for, but she was open to anything I might want different and was happy to make changes, while also giving her input when asked. She was so patient with me and also took the time to explain every step of the process. Her attention to detail is incredible, and you can tell she is a true artist who cares deeply about her work. The final result came out absolutely perfect and was exactly what I was looking for. The shop itself was cute and inviting, and everyone was very friendly. If I ever get another tattoo, I will be returning here, and I highly recommend checking it out and making an appointment with Carolina!

This is my second time returning to this tattoo shop, definitely will not be my last! Christina was absolutely wonderful, I connected with her immediately after finding her vintage style on her Instagram page, and she responded quickly. She was also very straightforward about pricing, which I really appreciated. The second I stepped into the shop for my appointment, all my nerves immediately went away. She answered all of my questions with an enthusiasm and a passion I’ve never seen from any of my previous tattoo artists, and she was very kind every step of the way. It was the longest I’ve sat for a tattoo so far (3+ hours), but it was the most comfortable I’ve ever felt at an appointment. A few of the other artists in the shop even came over and chatted about my tattoo while it was being done; the name “Nice Tattoo Parlor” truly lives up to its name! If fine line, vintage style, or floral tattoos are what you’re looking for, I couldn’t recommend Christina more. She was wonderful, and I will absolutely be back!

My cousin and I wanted to get matching tattoos during our trip to NYC and decided on finding a spot in Brooklyn. After inquiring with Nice Tattoo Parlor, they matched us with Carolina since she specializes in color ink. Carolina was incredibly engaged and responsive, setting up a virtual consultation with us to make sure she understood what we were looking for. She fully understood what we were going for, and was able to create amazing options based on our reference images. Once we went to our appointment, Carolina was amazing - super clean space, clearly explained what we should expect and why she was making certain choices. She knows what she's doing and truly cares about the art and process. Also, the cost was incredibly reasonable for two high quality tattoos. We would 100% come back to Nice Tattoo Parlor and work with Carolina again!
