I don't even know if she's a good tattoo artist or not, she was so flakey that I couldn't get an appointment . Since I was visiting, I wanted to book something in advance. She replied right away & we started discussing my tattoo & booking. She had an unfortunate family event happen & said she wouldn't be working for awhile so I looked elsewhere. I eventually hear back so I was excited about doing the tattoo. I responded an hour later (on a hike so I missed her email) but never heard back, I sent another email & even called her shop but still nothing. I understand that things come up but if you're running a business, please at least communicate.

Me and my buddy called for an appointment on a Monday morning and Barb was able to get us in that day. She was very friendly and professional. Her shop is very clean, well kept and comfortable for anyone getting tattooed for the first time, or the 100th time. Defienlty recommend her.

The boyfriend and I are currently on a road trip. Decided last minute to get tattoos because hey why not! Called over 8 places and all of them either did not answer or were not accepting walk ins (or appointments made 6 months on advance!) We were determined to get them done before leaving nova Scotia. We decided to call Barbs and thank god! She squeezed us in at 7pm and she was incredible! Made us feel very comfortable especially it being our first time getting inked. She was very professional and had a well maintained work space. Showed us step by step what she was doing and very chatty! Would highly recommend her and I definetely would travel the distance to have her tattoo me again!!
