Walked in with the drawing of what i wanted. Joey the owner of Soul Armor was great! He told me what was wrong with my drawing and why it was wrong and it all made complete sence! The tattoo that i have now is BEAUTIFUL!! I am very happy to have listened to his advice. This is the before and after cover up.

Joey's art is really impressive. He's a super nice guy, as are the rest of the staff. Everyone is really friendly. Leave yourself some extra time, sometimes things can run behind there but it's worth it. I'm currently working on my second tattoo with Joey.

If I could give Joey ZERO stars I would. Here`s my story. I`m sharing because I don`t want this happening to anyone else: This is the story all about how Joey Moskwa, the OWNER of Soul Armor Tattoos in Casselman butchered my first (and last tattoo)...Ever since having my second child 6 years ago, I kept trying to find a tattoo that would represent my kids. Last summer, I thought I had it all figured out and finally decided that I wanted their thumbprints to form a small heart on my wrist. When I called the tattoo shop, I asked them if I needed a consultation, since I already knew what I wanted and they agreed to book my tattoo appointment for the end of August. I had a change of heart once the Joey put the stencil on my wrist...My kids little thumbprints had no details and I knew they wouldn’t look authentic. So I told Joey that I’d pay him for his time and would come back another day once I really knew what I wanted. That’s when he told me that he could make me a “custom piece”. I showed him screenshots of tattoo roses that I had taken with my phone, but he kept telling me that they were no good. We came up with a few ideas and I told him I would think about it...That's when he told me that people who overthink about tattoos tend to never come back. Well I should've ran at that point, but he was so convincing and kept telling me that my tattoo would be awesome... So I let my guard down and went for it, thinking I was getting a masterpiece. I sat in the waiting room while he took about 10 minutes to print the image of a rose off Google and traced the outlines with a pen. When I saw the rose I thought it was huge and asked him if he could make it smaller, but he said he couldn’t. I told him that I should just put it on my rib cage since it’s so big, but he told me that I should show it off...So he put the huge rose stencil on my tiny wrist and I actually thought that the outline looked pretty cool. So for an hour I got inked. When I got home, my husband and kids couldn’t even tell it was a rose...At that point, I couldn’t even tell what it was...and that’s when the panic set in. That night I kept waking up with extreme anxiety and definitely regretted my decision. By the following morning I was calling laser places to inquire about tattoo removal. Not one single person that I've shown it to could tell that this was a rose... But Joey thought it was awesome. This is NOT art. It looks more like: a frog, a Pokémon, a fruit bowl, a bird, etc. Although it's been a great conversation piece, I'm so grateful that Julie Ladouceur and her team at Dermis Ottawa Skin Care in Orleans have invested in state of the art technology. Thanks to PICOSURE TATTOO REMOVAL, my tattoo will be completely gone within 5-6 treatments!!! No skin damage, no bumps and no scar tissue.
