What a nightmare!!! I've had the worst piercing experience here. I had a double lobe piercing done by the owner Linda. Both piercings bled for about 20 mins. I live about an hour away, but I wanted to come in for their special. Two weeks later, I came back because I was having several issues. They didn't closely look at it. I came back again - they used the wrong jewellery! My piercing closed up and healed over the jewellery. They had to pull, twist, and use a wire cutter to get the piercing out! It was very painful. I came in yet again, to have the proper jewellery put in. I waited in the shop, after calling and emphasizing the time that I had to leave to go to work. The owner was across the street arguing about her lottery ticket, as I was waiting and waiting in the shop. The owner refused to take responsibility and even denied being my piercer. She put the proper jewellery in. I couldn't tell with the hoop earrings, but when she used the stud - my piercing wasn't even!! I wasn't given my money back. I'm planning on letting the piercing heal and having it redone - so it will actually be even. I'm going to have to pay again and to go to another shop to have it actually fixed. This has been incredibly upsetting, costly, painful, and frustrating.

I walked In on 4/20/18 and everyone was nice. This lady named Linda did my nose piercing and she was AMAZING! Walked me through the whole thing, thoroughly cleaned it and was just so sweet! She even gave me all her info for when to contact her if I had any questions. She was also training a lady who was nice and allowed me to squeeze her hand while I was getting the piercing done. It came out when I was sleeping and I lost the jewelry the following Wednesday so I desperately wanted to go back so I wouldn’t have to re pierce it. I just wanted to pay for a new diamond and for them to put it back in. Unfortunately Linda wasn’t there but I decided to go back anyway. I got totally different service. The two people at the front desk were arguing over who wanted to do it because they both didn’t want to. The guy who did it didn’t clean my nose just put some jelly on the jewelry and tried to shove it in. After all was done the guy said he was gonna charge me an extra 10 because it was hard going in. Idk.

I had an absolutely horrifying experience at Abstract Arts Tatto last night. A couple of days ago, my mother lost her battle to cancer and passed away at far too young of an age. In an attempt to find a way of both paying tribute to my great mom, and cheering myself up a bit admist all of the grief, I decided to get a tattoo on my wrist of some flowers she grew in her memory. I decided on this shop due to a previous positive experience with an artist who’s no longer working there (his name was Wil and he did a large shoulder blade piece for me a couple years back). I got matched with an artist named Alwyn (@alwynnolose), and everything seemed great until the actual tattooing began. It was clear to me that she didn’t have any confidence with doing this tattoo. The more time she spent on the tattoo (which wasn’t much), the more questionable it started appearing. She only did the outline and some very blotchy shading before calling it quits and saying that she didn’t want to continue. I was confused and nothing but polite, and questioned why she didn’t want to finish it. She only used two out of the 5 or more colours that she prepared. All she responded with was a refusal to take any payment and a clear lack of confidence with finishing such a basic tattoo. I could tell by her attitude that she knew she had messed up. Now I’m stuck with a strange, hot pink, squiggly cloud-like design on my wrist that doesn’t even look anything like flowers. It’s horrible. I’m absolutely devastated. What was supposed to be an up-lifting experience during a very difficult time turned into a nightmare. And now I’m stuck with this horrible, embarassing reminder of it all until I can afford an expensive cover up. This shop seriously needs to reconsider what sort of standards they hold their “artists” to.

Myself and three friends got tattoos from Chantelle recently. We were tourists, but she was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The whole shop is very clean and has a cool setup. She did a great job at explaining all that she was doing and effectively sterilized and washed all equipment. She did an amazing job on our tattoos for a very reasonable price. I would definitely work with her again!
