I visited Golden Horseshoe today to have one of my ear holes tapered open. I was immediately greeted at the door by Josh, to whom I explained that I have been unable to wear earrings for 5 years due to a new sensitivity but I really want to wear earrings to my upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to get an earring into one of my ears. Josh helped me right away by explaining why I couldn't get the earring in and tapering the hole open for me. He talked me through the whole procedure and was entirely knowledgeable, kind, and patient as I asked all the questions I had. He even explained to me that my sensitivity was likely a nickel allergy and was able to sell me some beautiful earrings that will not aggravate my allergy. I was truly touched by the genuine kindness Josh showed me when he heard my story. This was my first time at Golden Horseshoe and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and health and safety measures taken. Would definitely recommend!

Just had an elaborate tattoo covering most of my forearm. Jason was recommended by 2 separate friends who do not know each other.Based on the reviews I asked for him. The tattoo was done in 2 settings - the first was the outline which took 2.5 hours. I didnt want to stop and Jason didnt take a break and so we went non stop. The shading took 1.5 hours and we had one short break - again he worked hard and did it as quickly as possible. Everyone who works there is polite professional and friendly. If I DO have another tattoo I will be going back to the Golden Horseshoe. Jason is an exceptional artist and very creative - I went with his suggestions and I am extremely happy with the result!

Girl at the front is lovely and friendly. Wasn’t a very comfortable experience though. Artist seemed overly annoyed when changing the stencil placement. Wasn’t very professional. Also, was overcharged what I was quoted. Quite disappointed, especially after reading good reviews. Would not recommend.
