The guys were very friendly and super inviting. But my tattoo looks nothing like it was supposed too. Sloppy and uneven lines. It's horrible and my body is 50 percent covered and this is my worst one. I wish I would have never stepped into this shop 😡

Poor quality. Okay experience. On a whim, my friend and I decided to get matching tattoos, so we called numerous places in and around Niagara. We each wanted a small turtle dove on the inside of our wrist so Lucky 13 said they would be able to "squeeze us in." We went and Steve was quite entertaining. He was very enjoyable to speak with, and tried including all of us (one friend was present, but not getting a tattoo) so we felt comfortable/content in the shop. He did my friends tattoo, and although she is happy with it, she said that she would like to go in and have it fixed because it is not what she expected for $80. As for my tattoo, it was completed by Brad, who also did the drawings for us. He showed me his initial sketch, and I asked if he would redo it closer to the picture I had of what I wanted, so he went back to the drawing board. He reconstructed his image and it was cute, but still not quite what we had asked for. We proceeded with the tattoo anyways, and Brad barely spoke to me before or during the process, and gave me no instructions for care after the tattoo. I asked, and he said to "treat it like an open wound - just don't let it get infected." After taking the bandage off later that night, I noticed that lines were crossed over in spots they shouldn't be, the wings had both pointy tips and bubbly, and lines were thicker in some areas than others. I returned home (as I'm not from Niagara) and showed an artist who had done a previous tattoo for me. He said that the artist at Lucky 13 had gone too deep in my skin so the ink was blown out. I was lucky enough that this artist fixed my tattoo, added some white to shade out poor areas, and he added a second wing so my dove looked more like the one I originally wanted. Although I could have asked Brad to sketch the image again, for further care instructions, or even called to discuss the quality the following day before I left Niagara, I did not feel that he was approachable. I am 100% happy with the tattoo I now have, but in my opinion, Lucky 13 is not somewhere I would recommend. If they were unable to successfully complete a simple outline of a dove, I fear what they would do for any larger, more extravagant pieces.
