My experience at Tattoo Gallery was nothing less than amazing!! Mark was my artist, he stresses the sanitation of his work station and has superior artistic integrity. As you can see in this photo, this is my first session; he's covering up the work from a different artist, whom cut my skin deep and had a shaky hand. Unfortunately, nearing the end I felt woozy and I chose to call it a day. Mark and his associate made sure I was feeling okay, then gave me a snack and drink. The price was extremely fair for the quality of my tattoo and customer service recieved!!

I got my first tattoo done here today, it's a fantastic place! They're really patient, intelligent, and helpful with the planning of your tattoo, and very kind even when you're as awkward as I am. It's very clean, new needles are used, and they're really attentive to the cleanliness. My moon tattoo is already gorgeous, done by the extremely talented Jeff. I'm really happy with my experience here, and would recommend it to everyone! Definitely go here if you're looking to get a tattoo, you won't regret it 😊

Mark did an incredibly amazing job on a half sleeve on my 4 years ago. After my mom passed away in August 2016, naturally I came back. At that time he told me he was booked until January 2017, which was disappointing but I know he was with the wait. 2 days before my scheduled appointment, he called to tell me he lost all my pictures. I brought them up to him the next day and I knew there was no way for him to have a drawing ready the next day. I asked if my son could take my appointment and we would reschedule. Mark agreed but told me if my son had walked in off the street, he wouldn't of done his tattoo at all because it was too small. I waited about 1 1/2 month's after, what was supposed to be my tattoo appointment and still hadn't heard from Mark, so I text him and through that conversation I learned that I was now going to have to wait until January 2018!! It's just my opinion but I think it is wrong that I have to wait a year, due to him losing all my pictures. I'm sorry Mark but I am going to have to go elsewhere.

Mark Somo will not waste his artistry on any tattoo smaller than 1/2 sleeve and is booked a year in advance. He claims to be #1 rated in Michigan and will not put his artwork next to anyone else's without redoing the whole thing. Expect to spend $500 or more if you are able to get fitted in his schedule.

My sister and I wanted mark but he was booked. We were recommended to his partner. We got a small ass little matching tattoo and the guy charged us 100 a piece. 60 at max was way more reasonable. I regret not asking him why. We didn't even bother to tip because we felt so ripped off. I will recommend Mark Somo who seem more reasonable but No to the other guy. We could've gone down the street for a cheaper price.
