2 tattoos from here. Pretty good quality and staff are awesome, gotta say. Thought it was really cool it was my local and after watching the skin documentary I wanted to check it out. I can't say all the artists are top quality and for the prices that they charge.. but it's decent!

Tattoo itself is fine. Everything else not so much. The artist was late and apparently the person I booked with at the front desk the week before hadn't explained what I wanted so we had to design something there and then. Tattoo was designed in 10 minutes by modifying an existing design and then completed in about 30. Its roughly 2 inches square. Cost £150. I was shocked. I had asked the person I booked with how much it would be after the £50 deposit and was assured it wouldn't be more than £100. I explained this, was told I was misinformed because they never charge less than that anyway. I said I was not expecting it to cost so much. They tried to assure me it was a reasonable price for a tattoo and treated me as if I wouldn't know any better, saying that its about normal for a tattoo this size and design. I have 6 tattoos already (which were covered), various sizes and designed for me in advance. I expected the price to be higher for a central London location but that just takes the cake! If you aren't an obvious tattoo enthusiast/cocky expect to be taken for a ride. The tattoo healed fine and is nice enough for something with no real thought put into it, but there are definitely better places to go for similar styles and more reasonable prices. TL;DR Tattoo is fine but prices are steep and staff are kinda rude/patronising. Can't recommend unless you're a pretentious hipster.

Highly recommend this place. Booking an appointment was easy. Atmosphere is really relaxed and finished work is great. Tattoo was done by Stuart - amazing artist who incorporated ideas into a really good design. Line work and shading are both excellent (healing really well too).

I came here as a walk in during a week day, got my first tattoo and was seen to almost straight away. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean and tidy. Overall I was very happy with my experience and the quality of the tattoo and would recommend anyone coming here who’s a little nervous about getting their first tattoo!

The Family Business is a fantastic shop with some seriously talented artists. I can't speak highly enough of Andrea who gave me a super slick traditional tattoo in January. If you want friendly service, great atmosphere and top tattooers FTB is your place.
