They sold us a Cat 259B3 Skid Steer with ~2400 hrs. Paid full competitive price. The head exploded within 40hrs of use. Upon opening it up, there was an obvious overheat issue that likely lead to this premature engine failure. New engine now required. Groundhog provided ZERO assistance on this issue and did not respond to my email requesting information or assistance. Beware of buying rental units.

We have had nothing but a positive experience at Groundhog. We have purchased a lift and skid steer and have had no issues. As well we have rented numerous times from them. Great family owned and operated company.

They Sell machines with undisclosed issues and won’t stand behind their products when they fail. All they offer is poor attitudes and service which they deliver with a condescending and rude tone. Always try to support local business because typically the service is second to none. Not in this case. With so many other places to deal save yourself the brain damage.

We purchased a used machine with under 1500 hours on it, after about 20 hours of snow removal we took it into Cat for repairs only to find out the tandem drive pump was broke. $11,000 in parts & labour to fix. Ground Hog sales wouldnt help at all on the costs. I wouldn't recommend buying here.
