I first encountered Avilion Metalcraft as a sub trade through a vendor working at our strata. They were engaged to design and install a glass rail on my kitchen and bedroom decks, in lieu of another trade that was not reliable. Avilion followed up immediately. I found several members of their team to be responsive and flexible to changes in my initial plan. This unfolded over a considerable period of time, and Avilion stayed with it. Finally the rails were installed. I found the design and metalcraft to be exactly what I wanted- aesthetically pleasing and structurally strong. The trades who came to install were polite, shoes off at the door as they had to go through to the decks. The installation was cleanly done, with attention to details such as the top of a gate on one deck matching up exactly with the top of the continuing rail along the same deck. Avilion is not the cheapest vendor in town, but it highlights the fact that you get what you pay for. I have never shied away from cost if it is a quality product. I would unhesitatingly use Avilion again, knowing that the team's end result will be exactly what I want. The goal is to buy once, and be happily satisfied with what you get. That is the case here. My experience from the beginning of my interaction with Marek at Avilion Metalcraft to the installation of our balcony railing was stress free. The entire team is professional, timely, and friendly. AvilionMetalcraft was a pleasure to do business with, responsive and with competitive pricing. A fabrication issue was detected during the initial installation due to the nature of the in-place deck. Remediation was performed immediately to meet a key deadline that was truly above expectations. The railings met the quality standards as promised, installation team was clean and courteous and all expectations were fully met. I would be a repeat customer of AvilionMetalcraft.

Avilion installed replacement railings on the front of our house and new railings on the back. Jocelyn was great to work with, and the installers were very careful. There is a large number of options and Jocelyn effectively explained them and provided many helpful suggestions, including the long vertical railing that provides support for the porch roof. The new railings are a huge visual improvement over the original 1950 railings and meet current code. Note that Avilion does not remove existing railings. We were very pleased with all aspects of the project.
